The 4.7 cu ft capacity drawer refrigerator from KitchenAid provides more than ample space for wine and all other entertaining needs. The panel-ready appliance allows the unit to be customized to match the surrounding cabinets with custom panels and handles (both sold separately). The professionally inspired design combines a bold blend of professionally-inspired styling with sleek touches. This beautiful specialty refrigeration unit features satin textured handles and LED interior lighting that illuminates the inside of the unit, making items easy to find. An easy to use electronic interface allows pleasant and precise control over the refrigerator temperatures and settings. The option of a built-in or freestanding installation provides the ultimate versatility and flexibility for placement. Easily add a unit under counters in the kitchen, to custom cabinets in the dining room, or freestanding anywhere you like around the house. The over-temp alarm automatically alerts you if the temperature is unsafe for cold storage. Sensors trigger the alarm if the refrigerator temperature rises above 7°C (45°F) for more than 4 hours while a door alarm alerts you when the door has been left open before items inside rise above their ideal temperature.

ice marker has design flaw
The ice level can not be adjusted that I know of and it continues to make too much ice so that the door is unable to close and ice cubes fall into the back of the unit. Ice melted and buckled our wood flooring.

Ice Maker does not work
I set this up in Mid July, 2023. It made ice the first 24 hours and then stopped making ice. Service came out first week of August and said there was a kink in water line but he still needed to replace ice maker! He supposedly fixed kink. Well, there was still no ice and no kink in line. Now I'm waiting on a new ice maker for a newly bought product! By the time service comes out, I will probably be past my return date. I would rather have another one without the icemaker. Such a waste of money. Very disappointed. I usually love Kitchen Aid products. Totally not worth the price.

Broken icemaker

Very handy

Also wish freezer drawer would have optional ice maker - takes a lot of room especially if I don’t use it !

Some design issues
I've had it for about 3 weeks. On the plus side, it was more reasonably priced than competitors. It is working just fine. I have two complaints. First, the doors are easily left open, and closing one door may inadvertently result in the other door opening slightly. In a great example of dumb technology, the darn thing beeps when the door is open. I wish the designers had simply put in magnets or springs to insure the doors shut and stayed shut. I don't want it to instead constantly (yes, every day or so) remind me of its design failings! Also, the ice maker takes up a huge amount of space. You can easily turn off ice making and reclaim a bit of that space where the ice tray would go, but it would be nice to be able to remove the ice maker itself, so that the rest of the space could be reclaimed.

Flaw in warning bell system is maddening
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be a great appliance if Kitchen aid would correct the problem with the drawers closing and with the intermittent sounding of a drawer open warning chime...particularly when the draw has been repeatedly checked and closed.
We will be calling Kitchen Aid service as the two reset fixes are not reliable
