Description
The Bosch 800 Series dishwasher provides sparkling cleanliness for all of your plates and utensils. Its custom panel combines elegance and a low profile look to perfectly match your kitchen décor. With 18 sound-reducing technologies, this dishwasher operates at only 39 dBA, while the concealed panel has electronic touch controls for a quick cycle setting. The EasyGlide(TM) rack system allows for smooth gliding for easier loading and unloading on the upper basket. The MyWay(TM) third-level rack increases loading capacity by 30% and can hold flat items such as long kitchen tools. The appliance includes, among other things, a Speed60(TM) cycle that cleans and dries dishes in just an hour, and a sanitize option that eliminates 99.9% of common bacteria and improves drying results. Featuring an all stainless steel tub, this dishwasher comes with a 1-year limited warranty, parts and labour.

Dishwasher doesn’t start like-new
We've been in our home not even 4 years and we live her part-time and rarely use the dishwasher. No power, doesn't work. Have a repairman coming tomorrow. What a cheap appliance.

Bosch Panel Ready DW
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our first Bosch DW in 2000 and it continues to work well for the new owners of our former home. We purchased a new home in 2021 and istalled our new Bosch 800 DW. We find the new tray configuration provides very efficient use of the interior space and if not for the red LED and drain cycle we wouldn't know that it's running. Excellent, reliable product.

Made of plastic
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The door system is made of plastic. The swing of the heavy door broke the plastic inside which is a molded part of the frame. Now the door has not support and the washer stops the cycle. Cost to fix is very expensive, might as well buy a new one. This is not worth the price when it's so cheaply made.

Amazing dishwasher

This dishwasher not only has tons of space thanks to its extra 3rd top drawer for utensils and small bowls, but everything comes out SUPER clean, no food residue or spots. Easy to clean too with accessible filter which comes apart to rinse off every month or so. I've owned other dishwashers before and this is the best hands down, cannot even compare. Highly recommend. The door is a bit heavy but it could be more the weight of my cabinet face.

door tension failure
Wish I could give zero starts. The pins that hold the door cable guides have failed on both sides of the dishwasher. It appears from diagrams that this component will require the complete disassemble of the dishwasher to replace the base. The dishwasher has been in service only 10 months. This type of failure seems to be a engineering failure in choosing a material that is put under alot of stress from the door springs. The plastic base has not re-enforcement in this area and plastic cable guides seem to mechanicaly increase this stress to this pin that is molded in to the base. This design seems to make this model dishwasher a throw away model which is a sham for the amount of money that one pays for the brand name. Bosch historically meant a produce with excellant engineering and material science behind their product. With less than a year and catastrophic failure of a major underpinning of the dishwasher this does not seem to be the case any more

Many issues
We had many issue with the dishwasher. It's 3 years old abd everything has started to full apart. The door spring has broken and slams down if you don't hold it. The digital buttons stopped working and now the door won't close. I would expected much more from Bosch.
