Fridge died 3 yrs after purchase
Bought in fall of 2000 crapped out today. 3 1/2 yrs not good value in an appliance. Other issue is in a town of 100k only one company repairs LG so we will see if compressor went and it is warrantied but very disappointed in this unit. Maybe I shouldn't be as nothing is built to last any longer.

Failed, repair too costly
Compressor failed after lass than 4 years. Replacement cost is more than half the price of the fridge and is not covered by the compressor warranty. It was humming loudly when it was working.

LG never again
Terrible quality of parts, especially plastic pieces. in 3-4 years we had to buy from a 3rd party vendor several plastic parts that go inside, for example door baskets/trays, deli drawer cover, where we easily spent another few hundreds $$$. Stainless dents easily, fridge is very noisy, logo LG fell off ??? Definitely the last LG appliance for me.

Poor Quality
After 2 years, it was broken. It sounds like still working, but no cooling, no freezing.
My foods inside were getting rotten, so I had to buy a chest freezer in a snowing night, almost midnight.
It never happen to my previous fridges or freezers.

Compressor
Bought this fridge 2 years ago. Compressor went and had to scrap fridge. Two years old fridge is scrap......
I will never buy LG product again.

broken after less than 2 years
We got this fridge 18months ago and the compressor is now not working on it, no techs near us are able to fix it so even though the compressor has a 10 year warranrty we can't get the fridge fixed. The only thing that was suggested to us was to turn the fridge off for 8 hours... that obviously didn't help

ca c'est bruyant !!!!
j'ai acheté cette appareil il y a 2 semaines,on me l'avait recommandé car je voulais un frigo silencieux, mais ah surprise. il est l'appareil le plus bruyant de la maison , le plancher vibre lorsqu"i; fonctionne et fonctionner il fonctionne 45min il arrête 15 min et recommence , je dois monter le volume de la tv pour l"entendre , de plus dans le frigo il n'y avait pas les bonne penture pour changer la porte de coté je suis retournée chez le commercant qui me l'a vendu .ils ont confirmé que ce n'était pas la bonne penture mais n'ont jamais voulu me donner le kit d'un autre réfrigérateur en magasin je dois attendre qu'on m'en livre un autre,çca fait 3 semaine que j"attend !!!!!
