Wish I had bought a different model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is noisy and sounds like a tin can. It is far removed from my Whirlpool Cabriole (?) set that I used to have, and - stupidly - left at the house from which we moved. I do appreciate the removable agitator. There is plastic around the front of the lid. It pops if I accidentally lean on it and I'm afraid it will break. Would not buy this set again. Seems very flimsily made.

Spin cycle is insanely loud...
Spin cycle is so loud. Hard to believe this is near top of the line Whirlpool model. In video, noise in room is equal or greater to 2nd highest volume setting on my phone.

The removable agitator is the best part
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the removable agitator. I keep it in for most loads since I think it cleans the clothes better. But it’s great to be able to remove it for sheets and bulkier things. A few notes about things I don’t like so much: it’s pretty loud. I had an LG washer before and I don’t know how else to explain the noise from this than it sounds less insulated and clunky. You can hear every little movement as the cycles go about their business. It’s not the worst thing since I’m fortunate to have a laundry room and I can just shut the door. But in comparison to my old LG I think it’s less quality. Also you have to indicate if you are using fabric softener. It seems strange to me. I think that softener should just be the default this is absolutely not a game changer, just noting things that are different from my old machine. Lastly, there’s no display to indicate how much time is remaining on the load. My old machine would display how long each different cycle was going to take so I would know about how long until I should go switch the load to the dryer. With this one I’m still not really sure and I just go check it once in a while. Overall, I think it’s a good, not great, washing machine. I do like the matte grey/charcoal color and it cuts down on fingerprints. Overall I would buy again, but only due to the removable agitator and to my knowledge this is the only brand that has that option. If I had known about the noise I may have considered another LG just because I feel like it was better quality. I hope this review helps someone make a good choice for their home.
