Oven not working due to burned-out circuitry
We did not choose this product; it came with the house we purchased in 2017 (the range itself was manufactured in 2015). The stovetop was great; we really like the virtual flame and induction heating, and it helped we already owned induction-friendly pots and pans. Water boils FAST on the power boost. But from the get-go, we were not impressed with the uneven heating of the oven, whether or not we used the Convection Bake, Roast, or Chef Bake modes. Items on the left side were always darker than the rest of the items. The final straw is that two weeks ago in an attempt to bake bread, the oven refused to preheat. The fans blew out room temperature air for 30 minutes. Upon shutting down the power to the range and removing its back panel, we saw that three wires and and their connected terminals going into the circuit board had fried, leaving carbonized residue on the board and disconnected, burned-out wire ends. We checked it against a circuit diagram, and sure enough, the terminals led to the broiler and the convection heating elements. If the board is still good, we could probably replace it, but we're not willing to expend the energy to disconnect everything just to see if the board was still good because we'd still have to figure out how to replace the wires and terminal. And what if we end up with another bad board? No thanks - we're probably going to find a different induction range that's NOT a Samsung. Upon further research, apparently this is not a unique issue to our Samsung range.

Samsung overheating scare
Loved this product initially but more recently the oven began overheating to the point my house was filled with smoke and the alarms went off. It took over an hour to clear the house and this was after only 15 minutes of my dish being in the oven. I understand there is a proposed class action lawsuit over just this issue. So scary.

Fast, reliable, beautiful oven and range!
I've had this oven for over 5 years and I love it. Heating up the top half of the oven takes so little time compared to the half size gas oven that is in my old house and the induction cook top works exactly as advertised. I was lucky and had bought a set of pots and pans that had a thick steel bottom years ago hoping that one day I'd be able to afford induction.

If only the oven worked ...
if only the oven worked. it's literally junk. it's never worked, but we ordered this in the pandemic, then our renovation was stalled, so by the time we actually had this oven installed and working and realized the issues, it was too late to pursue a warranty claim.
1 -- thermostat does not work. at all. you have to literally hover over the stove any time you are cooking to prevent burning and/or to make sure it cooks at all. sometimes it heats to temp, say 350, then basically turns off. other times, thermostat picks up that its cooler, and then yanks the heat back up so high everything is burned to a crisp in a minute.
2 -- the flex zone technology is useless. anything in the top zone is burned to a crisp. anything in the bottom zone doesn't really cook.

Died after only six years
control panel malfunction for unknown reasons. $100 to diagnose, $410 to replace board. lightly used by a retired couple who seldom entertains. have to spend $510 after only six years?
i like that the cooktop boils water fast.

Nothing but problems
Purchased in late 2017 this range began to have issues after the first year, that is, after the manufacturers 12 month warranty expired. It suffered from the worst fault of a cooking appliance, inconsistency, It failed to maintain a set oven temperature usually falling short but occasionally as much as 50 degrees F too high but not with every use. Extended warranty service improved but did not completely resolve the problem. Subsequently the stove top began to over/under heat, particularly the largest element. Extended warranty service recommended replacement of the circuitry. After some 6 months waiting for Samsung parts the service was performed and calibration and performance checked. It is now mid 2022, three months after the full service, and a fan has failed effectively rendering the oven useless. Both the oven and stovetop have shown previous symptoms again as well.
This range is the worst major appliance we have ever owned.

Produit défectueux et irréparable
J'ai acheté cette cuisinière pour ses fonctionnalités et son look (les côtés qui dèbordent et s'accotent sur le comptoir). Un an plus tard rien ne fonctionne. Après trois tentatives de réparation, qui ont duré plus que deux mois (sans cuisinière à la maison et plusieurs appels pour se plaindre) je me fais autoriser un échange. Produit défectueux et experience désagréable.
