It's loud. I expected better at this price point.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look of this fridge, and we have had good experience with KitchenAid in the past. I like that this version of the fridge has multiple ports for venting cool air in the fridge section, good lighting, and good removable bucket shelves in the doors. We really love the smaller ice cubes too. However, there are a couple of downsides that have ruined our experience. Both doors of the fridge must be opened in order to open up any of the drawers. I thought the smaller drawers would open up fine, but they do not clear without both doors open. Also, the compressor is loud. Uncomfortably loud. It has a buzz to it when it's on that I can only describe as penetrating and present. It can drown out conversations. It runs louder than the dishwasher. We measured the fridge with the compressor on at 52-54 dB when running, up at ear height and standing a few feet in front of the fridge. Contrast that with most dishwashers run at 40-50 dB. Think about that, this fridge runs louder than most dishwashers! It was so loud that we returned the first one, only to have the second one be just as loud. In addition, all of the plastic drawers are warped at the front along the top edge. They are supposed to seal nicely when closed, but they are all bowed/warped at the top, and so the "seal" only touches for about 1 inch of the width of each drawer. The freezer is way too small for real life, and collects a lot of frost. It collects most of the frost at the bottom of the drawer, and the ice attaches to the drawer, such that you have to break the drawer free of the ice buildup each time we open it. The soft-close function of the freezer drawer stopped working as soon as the freezer reached temperature.

Decent Counter Depth Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Kitchenaid French Door refrigerator June 1, 2024. For the most part things are good. We would recommend, if possible, that the shelves be made adjustable in height. For us, our ice cream stays to frozen with the freezer set at 4. The recommended freezer setting is zero. We presently have an intermittent buzzing noise that has not been resolved as of this review.

Love the Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for a month now and am very happy with my purchase. We have had no issues with the fridge and have been enjoying all its added convenient features. Additionally its sleek design is a welcome replacement from our bulky French door fridge before!

Very versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The engineering is fenominal related to space and accommodation of various size items that are stored. Love the self closing crispers , cheese draw and freezer. The ice and water dispenser a great feature and not complicated. There is an adjustable self to accommodate tall items like wine bottles, a party tray that can be used for storage or a vegetable or fruit plate for a party. Meat marinating. The capacity of the door containers accommodate more containers than other refrigerators I’ve owned. The freezer has self closing drawer less chance of being left open accidentally. It has four distinct Storage compartments so organization is easy.

Learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE the layout. Still on the learning curve. Need to figure out what temp setting to use for the refrigerators bottom drawer; the left vegetable bin has a tendency to derail.
Odd thing: you can't open the right veggies drawer without opening both Refridge doors, but you can open the left one with just the left door open. Has to do with the width of the flap that seals the two doors.

Great appliance with two deficiencies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is great. We, however, have two suggestions. First, the ice maker refill pump is noisier than any of our previous refrigerators. Second, the left side of the freezer lacks a source of illumination directly over the bin. Difficult to see/find frozen items on the left side.

Leaks all over floor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very disappointed in the refrigerator. It leaks constantly on our flooring. It also does not make ice quickly enough to keep up with our daily needs. It does not have enough storage for our needs.
