Description
This Samsung cooktop offers powerful heat with precise control. The center burner has 3 ring sizes and the front burner on the right has 2 ring sizes and features the Rapid Boil™ function. This cooktop has Wi-Fi connectivity so you can monitor the cooking, set the timer and receive alerts it finishes using a smartphone app. The Simmer/Melt function keeps the temperature low so you can gently simmer or melt food like chocolate and butter without burning it. Indicator lights let you know when a burner is on and if the surface is still hot.

Wish it were better
I have had my induction cooktop for 5 years and LOVE how quickly it heats up but HATE that any water that boils over from my pans or drips from my lids onto the surface will shut the entire cooktop off.

DO NOT PURCHASE!
DO NOT PURCHASE WITHOUT BUYING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!
I purchased this cooktop in late 2021 for $2,500.00 and it has stopped working all together. Called Samsung repair and the service tech who came out said it would cost over $2,000.00 to repair. They would have to remove and completely dismantle the cooktop to replace all (4) of the circuit boards inside. It is likely that in a couple of years the same error code would appear and the cooktop would stop working.

Don''t know, no cookware as advertised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop was advertised with cookware, however no cookware! The whole point of including the cookware is to ease the transition to induction. very sad can't use it till I get new pots and pans.

Awesome Induction Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a couple of months since I purchased this cooktop and for the most part I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The steady temp control and immediate response is perfect! I like that it heats the pot(s) quickly and only the pots, not the entire cooktop. I really like the "Power boost" setting which can really speed up the time it takes to boil water. I like the flex zone capability and I like the way it integrates via bluetooth to the Range Hood. There are two things I'd like to change and they are: the touch control to change the temp and the magnetic knob don't work well. I'd prefer plus/minus buttons or maybe physical knobs. The other thing is I wish the humming from the magnet(s) was quieter. There's an audible pulsating vibration hum that happens when an eye is on that at times can be a little annoying.

Sleek and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our Induction Cooktop for two months and wish we had bought it years ago. Induction heating works very fast; we can boil water in a couple of minutes with the Power Boost function. Temperature control is easy, and cleaning the cooktop is even easier - no knobs to worry about trapping residue. We did need to buy a downdraft for our cooktop as it is mounted in our kitchen island, but we didn't need to buy many new cookware since we were able to use most of our existing cookware, such as our wok and cast iron skillets and pots.

Beautiful Cooktop - wish it worked as described
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was just installed and they cannot connect the hood to the cooktop. They send out a technician but still cannot connect it for auto-conectivity to exhaust hood so when the cooktop is turned on the hood starts and shuts off automatically Glad I paid for the top of the line model that doesn't work correctly.
