Description
This 36-inch Frigidaire cooktop from the Professional collection features premium control knobs for precise temperature adjustments. This 5-element cooktop includes a powerful 1800 W/3000 W expandable element and 2 SpacePro bridge element that can be synchronized, giving you extra space when using a griddle pan or large cookware. A warming zone keeps your dishes at an adequate temperature so that everything can be served at the same time. Additionally, an indicator light alerts you when the surface is hot, even when the elements are turned off. This appliance comes with a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the sleekness of this cooktop. My only issue is the metal trim on the front. I would love to have it where this one was glass all around, because the metal trim scratches easily. Other than that, this cooktop allows for 4 different items to cook at the same time. It is semi easy to keep clean.

New burner style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to purchase a new cooktop because the main burner on the previous one went out. That one was purchased in 2009, and I was very surprised and disappointed it did not last longer. The burners are located in a different pattern and it will take some getting used to. On the previous one the primary burner used was a medium/large one on the right front of the cooktop. I used the inner or smaller (medium) burner the most. Now the burner on the right is a dual one, large/larger. The one that is closest to the one I used the most is in the middle of the back of the cooktop. Not a very comfortable reach for a short person like myself. There were no other options for us, the only cooktop available in the size needed was the floor model. I will continue to work at getting comfortable with it, hoping that I don't burn myself during the initial time.

Terrible cooktop
I’ve had glass cooktops before and this one is the absolute worst one I’ve ever had. For a professional cooktop, the glass and the stainless scratch extremely easy. I’ve only had it 10 months and it looks like it’s been through a war zone and I’m not even home to cook on it very much. I am most disappointed in this
