Description
This Maytag(R) 30" freestanding gas range is equipped with 5 different burners so you can prepare a wide variety of recipes. The 15,000 BTU Power(TM) burner with 18,000 BTU temporary boost lets you easily sear meats and stir-fry evenly and quickly. The 2-in-1 simmer and warming burner delivers 800 to 5000 BTU of precise and easily adjustable heat, while the 8000 BTU oval central burner is very convenient for very large cookware. Precision Cooking system uses built-in heat sensors to help cook any dish evenly. The oven comes with several functions, including a self-clean cycle and a variable broil function that provides the best grilling results by letting you select the ideal temperatures for your favourite dishes. A delay cook setting allows you to place your dish in the oven ahead of time and plan the cooking time whenever you want.

Wanted to love the appliance, but…..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a few weeks ago. There are some things to love about ti and some things not so great. The good: storage drawer, glad to have that again. Oven igniter is great. Stovetop burnes are awesome.
The bad: it would appear the temp sensor in the oven is not accurate at all. Noticed things taking longer to cook and using a couple of different thermometers it would seem the oven is about 25 degrees cooler than the set cook temp

Maytag Stoves - Not what they used to be
Performance of this stove is unsatisfactory. The burners only run at a high flame, even at the lowest setting. They do not simmer and often things will boil over if not watched closely. The oven is the opposite in that you have to heat the temp at least 15 degrees higher to get the desired temp and cook you are looking for. Very disappointed.

oven failed already
oven has been used no more than 20 times. at our summer home. went over Memorial Day and code flashing and doesnt work. just delivered on May 23 but now out of warranty!

Works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was easy, works well with no issues, overall I like the way it functions, however, it was made inexpensively with not much thought. The drawer below the oven is difficult to insert into the tracks and the metal on the front edge is so thin it cut through the skin of my finger when I grasped the front of the drawer to open it. We replaced a Samsung stove with this one and the control features were better on the Samsung. The clock illuminates in the color orange which is out of sync with the Samsung we had and the microwave above.

It was installed last Tuesday and has never worked. They expect me to wait a week for someone to come out. That is unacceptable
