Fire hazard
Caught fire this week. 5 years old. Glad we were home seems there is an issue with these stoves. My samsung fridge door broke. My samsung TV has a line in it. Just saying?

Self Cleaning
The first time I used the self cleaning the panel blew and door remained locked. It's been repaired twice after that for the same issue. Fortunately it's still under warranty; however Samsung has been slow to address the problem and I've been without and oven for 3 weeks. There is an obvious manufacturing defect after reading other similar reviews. I would expect at the least a replacement oven.

Some poor design features
Stove top burners are too high on the very lowest position. Cannot slow simmer soups for example. Oven racks are poorly designed - the wonderful heavy duty bottom rack has a "handle" which is not required but makes sliding out heavy items impossible. Other rack with lower bottom shelve also makes sliding out heavy items impossible.

Self-clean feature useless
Design of the self-cleaning feature is flawed. Used self-cleaning feature for the second time in 4 years over the weekend. Now the oven door is stuck locked and the oven display panel won't work. Quick on-line research indicates this is a common issue: self-cleaning cycle causes thermal fuse and/or high limit thermostat to blow. Now facing parts & repair bill. If the self-cleaning feature is important to you (as it is to me), buy another range!

Excellent Stove
This stove took some getting used to but I would never go back now. We've used it for our own home and for renters. I am surprised by so many negative comments about it. It would have deterred me from buying so I have decided to write this although I normally don't write reviews. Our self clean feature works perfect, no issues with displays, cooks great you just have to get used to how it does. Also the multi-function of this is great for people who cook various meals together, meal prep, or host a lot of dinner parties.

Lovely range
I bought this last year. It is a wonderful range but they don’t warn you about the fire hazard. The burner knobs are easily turned with a bump. We’ve had two small fires before we found out we can take the knobs off. Other than the fire hazard it works great.

Oven stopped working
Purchased brand new in November 2018. The oven stopped heating less than two years later, of course after the warranty had expired.
