This 36-inch GE Profile induction cooktop is a must-have for any home! It features a smooth ceramic glass top and intuitive touch control panel. Plus, its professional-looking black stainless steel finish will seamlessly match your decor. All 5 elements have their own hot cooktop indicator light, which lets you know which ones are on. The surface also includes a built-in sensor that turns on the elements only when a metal pan or pot is detected. In addition, you can use the synchronization option to connect the 2 left elements to a bridge element to get a larger contact surface for preparing meals on griddles or large pots. Finally, GE's exclusive Fit Guarantee ensures that this appliance will fit perfectly with your existing countertop by covering the cost of custom modifications. This model is backed by a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour.

THIS IS A GOOD COOKTOP. THIS IS MY SECOND GE INDUCTION PRODUCT. MY OTHER STOVE WAS A SLIDE IN WHICH IS SUPERIOR TO THE COOKTOP. I AM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WHICH IS WHY I GAVE IT 3 STARS. THE INDUCTION COOKTOP DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER AS THE SLIDE IN STOVE COOKTOP WHICH COOKS MUCH FASTER. FASTER THAN A GAS STOVE FOR SURE. BUT NOT THIS COOKTOP.

Cooktop for a chef!
I am a long time gas cooktop user and this was my choice when no gas was available. I love the quick response in cooking whether turning on, off or anywhere I between. It is a good addition to my cooking!

Dont buy it. Great when it works. 50/50 chance.
Has intermittently failed to stay in heat mode on all burners since purchased. Large center burner most reliable. Had service come out, but he did nothing since it worked when he was here. Maybe it's a lemon, but it fails at all the worst times. We stuck it out because had no other option.
