Great when it works
This refrigerator is great, when it works. Ours has been in service three years and has had to have two repairs because it could not maintain the freezer near zero temperature. The first "repair" after 2-1/2 years consisted of updating the software. That fixed the problem for about nine months then the same issue returned. This time the repair person replaced the compressor and evaporator. It has been only two weeks but all seems to be functioning correctly. We owned the same model for several years in a previous home and it was trouble free.

LG Refrif/Freezer service call
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our LG Refri during covid in 2021 and it's been generally running fine. However, since Jan 2024 the freezer section fills up with lots of frost and we have to empty the contents and defrost the fridge about every 2 months. Local LG service came in early June 2024 and he suggested we change the freezer & refrig temperature settings and call him if the freezer frosts up again. Otherwise he could not find any specific problem.

Love this refrigerator!
I love this refrigerator! I bought it because I had back trouble and needed to quit bending over to pull out milk and juice and other heavy things. It solved that problem, but I found the top refrigerator makes it easy to see everything easily. The door panel that can be opened without accessing the rest of the cooler is great for the things I need to reach often. This is the first time I have bought a refrigerator that it became more than a necessity. Thank you LG!

Great capacity and refrigeration!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this LG model three years ago. It has been a good refrigerator - ample capacity and refrigerates very well!
One comment though, we have had troubles with the double doors seal bar twice, and the doors getting out of alignment. The LG technician was excellent in the recent repair.
