This is everything I expected out of a Murphy bed. Perhaps my only wish was that a belt to hold the mattress in place be included (I know that they can be purchased separately). Works perfectly!!

Murphy bed
I engaged a professional contractor and he validated that this was the better approach in assembly vs. the average homeowner. His team took 6 hours. It was pre-assembled in our large garage and it went up in our smaller room and operated perfectly. My cost was worth the piece of mind. The hydraulic operation is smooth and easy as any spring-laden device gave us concern. I would only recommend to include some touch up paint as this white unit received some minor blemishes in the contractor's assembly. Nothing that couldn't be remedied. My wife sent photos to family members as this will be their visiting " crib" and they raved and look forward to a unique night's sleep. We are going attach some reading light addition for an added amenity

Instructions not intuitive
The product is as pictured. It was quite a feat getting the pallet of boxes up to my apartment, even with the utility elevator! Assembly was cumbersome, but the finished product is great!

Functional and good looking
We were so impressed by the first Murphy bed, we got a second one. It is so functional and allows me to flex my space of office/guest bedroom/workout room. Assembly took my handyman 8hrs this time; the time before that the other handyman took 3.5 hrs. Both worked alone.

Great Murphy
The bed is beautiful, the cabinet looks so natural, especially in this color! Difficult to put together we had hired someone off task rabbit, no fuss just extra charge but worth it.

This Murphy bed was purchased so a guest bedroom could be used as a sewing/craft room 95% of the time. It has worked perfect along with a Bestar Cubie purchased on BB&B and DreamBox from Create Room. They look great together!
