This 8-ft panel bundle includes one Slipfence 12-ft post with cap, 2 (two) side channels, and one top cap rail to finish off the top nicely and protect the top board from the elements. This bundle provides a strong and long-lasting framework for each panel in your horizontal fence project. This system requires one Slipfence aluminum post (SF2-PK312) to complete a fence line of numerous panels. You will require 5/4 x 6-in x 12-ft deck boards and need to purchase 17 of these per 2 Slipfence SF2-HWPK8 fence panels and cut to exact size on site, (approximately 6-ft). Once your Slipfence horizontal fence system is installed, the wood will appear too high for the channels. Allow approximately 4-6 weeks for the wood to shrink, then cut your cap rail included in this kit to fit nicely between the channels and slip it onto the top of each panel.
