Great Storage Box
I bought this a couple of months ago and it has performed exactly as promoted - easy to assemble (it took an hour or so, but it was a fun project) with parts fitting together perfectly, strong and heavy, with perfect lid fit. Some reviews that mention assembly issues are likely from people without much experience (??), and the box needs to be on level ground for the lid to fit exactly square - normal for all similar boxes. I contacted Shelterlogic Customer Service (unrelated topic) via their website contact process and they got back to me the next day and were extremely helpful - absolute top marks for customer service! Buy this box - you won't be disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted!
The main purpose for this storage box was to protect my supply of bird seed and keep my feeders from being destroyed. This box was bigger than I imagined and is 100% perfect. My son in law put it together for me. The raccoons have been all over it but can't get in. I'm so happy with the quality and workmanship of this box. You won't regret buying one! I love that you can lock it as well, although so far the raccoons haven't been able to lift the lid at all. So very happy!

Great purchase!
I bought this box specifically for keeping my bird seed secure from squirrels and raccoons. I was so tired of these animals chewing through the plastic deck boxes, so when I looked online to find a metal deck box, this looked perfect...and it was! It was easy to put together, but takes two people. It looks great and the Pneumatic lift on the lid keeps it securely open when getting items out. It has stayed dry inside although we’ve had a lot of rain. I highly recommend getting this box for any of your outdoor needs.

Metal Deck Box
I purchased this deck box to store bird feed and food on my deck. The plastic deck boxes I had purchased prior, got chewed up by Raccoons and Squirrels trying to get into the container. This metal box, so far, has prevented these varmints from chewing, to get to the bird food. The box is also decorative and blends in nicely with my deck furniture. The only complaint I have is, the box is difficult to assemble with just one person. You need two people, so one can hold the sides straight, in order to insert the metal screws. Also, my box came without a set of Hex Bolts. I called the manufacturer and informed them. The initial response was from the customer service person was, "go to the hardware store and purchase a set." I told her I would probably end up doing that, since I wanted to assemble the box, that day. Although, I did ask her to send me a set, for possible future use. As of this writing, about a month after I assembled the box, I still have not received the set of bolts. Poor customer service.
