twait, thanks for the answer. That's about 5 inches to high to fit under my trailer eaves trough. How feasible would it be to lower the roofline by trimming the side supports and the gable end fill?
You’ll be doing a lot of grinding to shorten up the metal. But I think it would be doable.
We will be lifting our deck to get everything at the right height. But in the past with a screen room with tarp style roof we just made our 2x6” higher to accommodate the 8’. Something else to think about is running a flashing of sorts from end to end. In our case we will run it from the trailer awning track to the top of the screen room. This way no drips inside.
A friend had attached a strip of awning fabric through the track on trailer and the sealed it to the backside of the 2x6”. He ran it with a slight grade toward the back of the trailer and all the water just ran out the end. It was a slick setup! Hope this helps some.

What is the exterior height where the roof meets the building. Also how does it attach to the building.
Exterior height is a healthy 8 feet.
Attaching to a building is up to you. For us at home we’ve attached a 2x4” at either end of the screen room to the house, as well as a 2x6” across the top. then the screen room is screwing to these boards.
At the trailer we will likely attach at 2x4” at either end of the screen to the deck and a 2x6” across the top will be attached to the 2x4”s and we will put in some cross boards or corner boards to keep it square. Then will screw the screen to these boards and it will all rest beside the trailer. We will put in some screws to the trailer if we feel we have to. But really hope we don’t have too.

What snow load will it hold.
i have had mine for about 4 years in Timmins Ontario. i do not trust the polycarbonate so I added. Tuftex SeaCoaster 2.17-ft x 12-ft Corrugated PVC Plastic Roof Panel had to cut and trim. i always remove the snow using the roof shovel. the plastic roof makes it more sturdy and easier to remove the snow. polycarbonate roof is the wrong material for the roof . one hail storm would destroy those poly panels. I strongly recommend to protect the roof. we enjoy it also have a fire table inside for those cool evenings. also had to do several modifications only because of the location i installed it in.

Does this item have to be mounted on a deck,does it have a floor?

Good product - bad instuctions
I bought this this past summer and had it put together and absolutely love it. However, the instructions are not the greatest and had a friend come over to help me put together and I am grateful he did. I recommend that if you do purchase one but are not very handy that you consider bringing in someone with expertise as it can be very frustrating especially if you are not putting on a flat ground or wall surface.
