Can the faucet be hooked up via a laundry tap, like hooking up your washing machine?
No reason why it couldn’t be. You would have to buy fittings to convert from your laundry tap to the connection on the sink tap.

Nor the right color
We liked the size of this tub but the color is completely different than the one online. Supposedly it's gray but is really light blue. Very disappointing.

Great sink but I was caught off guard that the faucet was all in plastic. I bought another faucet to replace the the original one .
