Works quickly, relatively quiet, easy to setup
I just bought this 12000 BTU portable AC. It was easy to setup, with a decent window kit and foam insulation provided. The unit worked quickly to cool a small bedroom that was at 84 degrees, with 90 and high humidity outside. It is relatively quiet as well.

Great Portable AC unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC unit because our house doesn’t have central air and the one AC unit we have wasn’t cutting it.
Especially in this 90 degree heat we’ve had for a week straight in Michigan! This AC unit is extremely heavy, I will warn you, luckily my boyfriend was able to carry it into the house. So it would make it hard to move throughout your home if that’s your plan, but we’re keeping it in one room and it works great! It’s small and not ugly to look at, and yes men, if you have women in your home that’s important because it’s in your house so you’ll be seeing it lol.
It does of course make noise but nothing irritable or loud whatsoever. It’s like a humming noise from a typical AC unit. It blows out very cool air as opposed to the one we have now takes a while to get cool and the strength it blows at isn’t nearly as good as this one from Black and Decker! If you’re cautious about spending the money on it, just do it! It’s so worth it.
