Great rotary hammer, use all the time, love it.
I was wanting to try a new brand and I picked this brand and I am incredibly pleased. I will definitely buy the triple Hammer impact. My DeWalt lasted 2.5 years with everyday use at the fabrication shop. Including all my abuse so I'm going to get a new one it's going to be the metabo one and I will let you know how long it lasts.

Best hammer drill I've ever had
I do a lot of drilling through slabs and the Metabo hammer drill is the best one I've used. Working for different companies that supply the drill I've used a lot of different ones. The spline shank is so much better then the sds. This is overall a great tool!

Hits hard, drills great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like one of the other reviewers, I’ve had the same Model in Hitachi and needed another one for a big job, and added this model to the lineup, same unit, different name. Same durability. And after drilling several hundred 1” hole in concrete with both a spline hammer and a SDS Max hammer, the spline hits harder and thus make more holes faster!
Great drill, will last for years!!!

Perfect size for small demo work!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for several months now, and have used it to demo walkways and a fire place.
Works great!
Also used it to core a 2" hole through a 18" thick masonry wall.
Highly recommend this tool!!

The OLD is excellent so will the NEW be.
We owned a VERY old Hitachi 1 1/2" hammer that finally quit that was nearly identical to this new drill. The old was excellent. I discovered the reputation of the new one is equally excellent and superior to any other brand on the market. So why change?
P.S. The new tool's work has just begun.
