How does the retractable panels work?

Thank you for your question. The ease of retracting the roof will depend on the person. Some will find it easy; others may find it more challenging. It does not require any disassembly. You simply push each panel back towards the wall. Pushing the middle section to the top section may require a step ladder. Can I use a Infrared Electric Patio Heater in this product?

How thick are the polycarbonate panels? Will they break in a hail storm? Can they be ordered separately if they break?
