Powerful range hood upgrade.
I purchased this in Jan 2020 as part of our kitchen update. After alot of research I chose this one as it was eligant and powerful. It is well constructed and easy to install. I would have preferred an led light but the bulb socket was standard so I just replaced it with a led bulb. The self clean function is very nice but you do have to remember to clean out the grease catch after each cleaning. The only problem I have had so far (3 years) is the rubber gaskets expanded from contact with cooking grease and I had to cut them to get them to fit again. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Best kitchen update.
I purchase my range hood in January 2021. It looked like the best option available and turned out to be a good decision. The fans are powerful and can Handel Christmas's dinner at our house who's is saying alot. I love the self clean function it helps keep the grease down to a manageable level.

Sturdy and powerful
Don't let the minimal price fool you, this is a great unit. We've used it daily for four years with absolutely no complains. The fan is powerful and the drip cups and grease catcher work as expected. They seem to be the only parts that need to be replaced occasionally, I guess the heat gets to the plastic, but Hauslane has the parts and the cost is fair. This is a lifetime quality product.
Buying a less expensive product is buying a headache. These are built to last.

air leak
Air leaks out from the side of the turbine. it leads to the air flow too weak to push open the damper. Not reccomended

Fantastic unit that get's the job done!
I have had this model originally sold as the Tatsumaki TA-190. It has been working well in my house, and I have only needed to replace the lightbulb once in 10 years. It's powerful enough to handle daily stir fries plus other type of cooking. The grease cups are straight forward to clean.

Works better than expected
Quality build, quality throughout. Installation on the other hand is not for the meek. You should put in the instructions that this really requires two people. I love all the warnings about wearing gloves boy are they true.
