Great machine
I bought this Brinly spike aerator after looking at several machines, glad I bought this one. It came in a box, after reading the directions it was very easy to put together. I loaded up with weights from the snowblower and some additional blocks. Hooked up to the lawn tractor and aerated my lawn. It was so quick to do and did such a good job. We fertilized after that. It stores well and we can do the lawn before we fertilize. It’s great because you can do just before a rainfall. We have just under an acre so it makes more sense owning one and a lot more efficient!

Bought this to help improve our lawn . Easy to use. Sure makes a lot of holes! I tow it behind an old garden tractor, no issues, it is easy tow. I use an eighty pound section of railway track for weight. It has a short draw bar and is very difficult to back up, so stick to always going forward. Also, it can be difficult to see where you've been. This is not an issue with the aerator, so you need to take note where you have been. It is actually rather fun! My neighbour noticed , so I am going to do his lawn.

A deal for the price I got it for
Looking for a spike aerator and thought this would be a good idea. Putting together was easy. But would recommend using water proof grease to assemble. Quality of steel is good but I think build quality could be better! Lots of plastic which will in time break! Durability is key here. Especially if your looking for a long term investment. For the money it’s good. But I think to put a little more effort into manufacturing would make loyal customers want more product. I am picky about my equipment and I also take very good care of it so it will last me a while. But to the normal customer I would be worried.
