Manufacturing flaw
The toilet I bought has a manufacturing flaw. The floater inside the water tank rubs on the inside wall and therefore is not moving up and down freely. I had to grind the bottom of the tank flat and level to fix the verticality of the water supply tube and floater, and to make the floater float freely. The quality control of this toilet water tank was not done properly. It is unacceptable for a Kohler toilet.

The big flush from
Used this model many times
I have bought and Installed around twenty of these toilet s pus a group of other models of Kohler toilets. I have a number of rental homes and I find these toilets to work and not break down. For some reason many tenants cannot keep an American standard from plugging. I personally don't believe they list the handle down all the way or even hold it at the bottom of the stroke for a second. Anyhow I have had far better luck next these than any other toilet

The nuclear deterrent
Great price, substantial non-miss bowl with quick release lid for cleaning. See some complaints about water running, adjust your float. Some complaints about having to hold the handle, quick slap liquids, 2-3 seconds for solids. Like this much better than two button models. Installation was a snap.

If water pipe comes from ground, won't fit
Prior to purchasing the toilet, i measured to make sure it would fit. I measured the distance from the wall. the area of the flange. What they don't mention is the width of the base of this toilet is the widest on the market. if your pipe comes from the ground, and it's an older house, it likely won't fit. There is nothing that mentions this on the box.
