Don't buy it
Look elsewhere. The suction cup doesn't work well. It got unscrewed several times while removing a bulb, and it doesn't stick well. Got frustrated and returned it.

Did the trick
It was long enough to get the job done but don’t be afraid to push the basket around there bulb….it won’t break. We had a chandelier that hangs and this pole works best on a light that is fixed to the ceiling because you have to push hard to get around the bulb.

Fonctionne, mais avec des ajustements
Les tiges se dévissent quand on veut enlever une ampoule... J'ai résolu le problème en mettant du "masking tape" aux 2 joints, une fois le manche ajusté à la bonne longueur.
Aussi, les ressorts du bidule qui attrape les ampoules était pas mal serré, et j'avais peur de briser
l'ampoule en essayant de l'attraper... J'ai résolu le problème en étirant tous les segments de ressort à l'avance, ce qui a diminué la tension, et facilite la prise de l'ampoule.

It Works!
We have a high garage ceiling that requires standing on the top step of a folding ladder (no place to rest an extension ladder) to change light bulbs. As a senior this has become dangerous. I was afraid the bulb changer might break the bulb but it worked perfectly.

Ne fonctionne pas pour dévisser une ampoule
ça fonctionnen seulement pour installer une ampoule neuve. Pour enlever une ampoule, ce n'est pas l'ampoule mais les sections du manche qui se dévissent en premier, alors il faut quand même sortir l'echelle et rendu là le cossin devient complètement inutile

Très mauvais produit
J’ai acheté le produit la semaine dernière et il est impossible de dévisser les ampoules en hauteur. Les tiges ne tiennent pas le serrage donc lors que l’on dévisse elle lâchent qui nous empêchent de dévisser l’ampoule. Très mauvais produit.

Much too much fun for the price!
I had some problem bulbs, like one in the center of a canopy 14ft up without anything to put a ladder on near the bulb. And one in a basement stairwell that would need an extension ladder dragged in through the house. I also needed to replace the pot lamps outside from installed coloured incandescents. This extractor did them all without major issues. I snagged one retainer spring on one fixture needing a ladder intervention, but all the others were handled on the ground or with a 4ft step stool. Did a dozen bulbs, so it paid for itself. Just replace the provided "thread" with decent twine for the suction attachement.
