great cable cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cable cutter is the best one that you can have. Very well made, very sturdy, amazing quality product. It was very easy to use it, I was amazed how easy and fast cuts cables, don't need to press or anything else. It cuts cables 14-2 to 10-4 mc. It has very sharp blades that is what makes cutting easy and fast. If you need a cable cutter I highly recommend this one, you will not be dissapointed.

Solid well built Roto-Split Cutter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past few weeks I have been running AL sheathed MC cable. the RS-101A Roto-Split has been by my side the entire time cutting in junction boxes for lighting, in wall rough, and panel troughs. The rotating knob for the handle is comfortable for prolonged use and has a convenient storage space for spare blades. At times it does need to be adjusted at the base where it enters the body of the tool because it is prone to becoming loose over time. The adjustable quick clamp is easy to set and does not slow down your progress when having different size MC cable to cut into the same box although I wish it would adjust itself to the MC cable automatically.

The almighty roto split
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tool on my commercial job, at an urgent care. It did an amazing job of keeping up with the hospital grade MC and BX. It fits well in my hand ergonomically and is not creaky like some of the other brands of roto splits. My only issue is the little red plug on the back of the tool. No matter what, when I put the wire in the tool it pops out.

Fast, Sharp, Compact

Great MC Cable Cutter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to use this product on an installation of several 12/3 MC cables today, and the tool worked very well on all cuts. I liked the feel in my hand as it was very comfortable to hold and operate. The blade cut through the outer metal sheath easily in only a few turns and didn't touch the conductors inside. This one also has a wide ranges of cables that it can be used on. The ability to keep spare blades in the handle is another nice feature. Great product! I will be ordering more of these for my crew.

Tried and true!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Same ol' roto-split, just with Southwire's name on it. This tool hasn't failed me in over 20 years of using one. Works great for stripping 3/8" AC/MC cable and 1/2" greenfield. Will not mar the wiring.

The right tool for the job
