If you have an Android phone or tablet DO NOT get this! Bluetooth Speaker will not work with Android Devices they can't even see it.

Homeowner install from
Bluetooth works with some devices
Purchased the SPK80L. Install was easy. Discovered the Bluetooth is limited. Only likes pairing with certain devices. Pairs with my iPhone fine, but I tried to pair with my Google home display and it fails. My Google home display pairs with other Bluetooth speakers (e.g. JBL Charge) just fine. Kind of disappointed as that’s how I had hoped to use it.

install not so easy
The spring suspension system is a joke, My box is 7.5 x 8 inches, neither set of springs would work, the unit appears too heavy for this spring installation it comes with. I ended up drilling 2 holes in opposite corners and bolting it in with white headed screws. I am surprised at the beautiful sound the speaker gives. Other than the mounting I have no complaints. I am happy with it.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. FIVE MINUTE UPGRADE.
I have a 16 year old house and the fan was starting to rattle. I purchase the upgraded fan kit that would fit the housing already there and was a plug in model. Better fan and quieter. I then purchased this upgraded grill for it. Took about 10 minutes for both, it is that easy. Anybody struggling with this is just using the wrong housing size. The fan is quiet and the bluetooth paired immediately. Keep in mind, the speaker is not Bose quality but you can hear your music or book just fine over the fan. It was a good purchase and I'm happy with it.

BRILLIANT and Simple
For years I have wanted a light closer to the shower. But it was going to be a major production to take out the old vent fan and put in one with a light. Today…after purchasing the fan / light / speaker….this 71 year old lady just put it in by herself. Clipped on, plugged in and clip closed the other side. Found the Bluetooth link and got it working fine. Only tough part was squeezing the new springs together into that last connection, but a pliers did the trick. Whoopee. I’ve got my light and not much more than 15 min after I gathered the ladder and went looking for the pliers.
