They do the trick!!
Bought three of these rubber mats for the 'footpaths' under our swing set. They keep young feet from dragging thru' the grass and soil (hard on shoes) as they swing, keeps the area level ('tho of course kills the grass under the mats). A huge improvement over mud and ruts under the swings, and/or more comfortable than landing on gravel. No installation required :)

Very durable, heavy and safe
I bought these mats for my basement floor to go on top of our ceramic tiles. I do a lot of cardio workouts and my knees and hips were suffering from the impact. These mats have definitely made my workouts more comfortable! They stay in place well, too, which is super important for safety when moving side to side and jumping around - haha! I wish they were a bit softer, had a bit more give to them;that's my only criticism. If they were a bit cushier I would give them 5 stars!!
