always looks dirty
6 months ago we remodeled our bathroom and installed a Santa Rosa 1.6 GPF white toilet. It fit the room well but we have had several issues with it. The tank cover did not fit and showed unglazed material - Kohler had to send us a new one, the seat cracked in a very short time - Kohler had to send a new one. The one issue we still have, and I believe will ALWAYS have is that the bowel always looks dirty. It develops a brown ring at the water line in just a couple of days after cleaning it. I am not happy about having to clean my toilet every 2 days. There are only 2 of us in the house so it does not get extreme use. I have noticed that the bowel fills after flushing and immediately drops approximately 3/4 of an inch and the ring forms at the original water level. We have not found any leaks or any way to adjust this. We should have spent that amount of money on a different brand. Not happy with this product!

unglazed seam
I like the sleek simple lines of this toilet and it works well. I am disappointed that there is the unglazed seam that other reviewers have mentioned. Our cleaner thought she needed to dust it. So it always looks a bit dirty in that area. I bought this toilet through my plumber, but am posting this review here because Kohler should be more careful with details. Kohler is sending me a new lid, so I will see if this helps hide the unfinished edge.

replacement for inside tank parts
I need help finding part numbers to replace parts inside the tank. Are there generic replacements? Is the Aquajet still availble?

Poor lid fit and runs/fills
I had this toilet installed less than a month ago in a small half bath off of our kitchen. The lid doesn't fit well against the tank and it looks old and yellowed. Additionally, the plumber has been back twice now to replace the seal, as the toilet keeps "surging" for a tank top off. It doesn't "run" like older model toilets, yet consistently lets out these mini "surge" sounds and refills. I would not recommend!

AWFUL
Ordered four of these for our new home. None of them will fill after after flush. Have had serious issue with several Kohler products put into our new home and have had to be replaced or repaired immediately. Will not recommend Kohler products ever again.

Design flaw
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Same issue. The lid doesn’t fit. The unglazed area looks dirty and old. If there’s a solution with a lid that overhangs…why not just send that one with the toilet. This is clearly a design flaw they are aware of.

Bad seam and cracked seat
Had 3 of the Kohler Santa Rosa toilets installed in our home 3 months ago. One of them already has a cracked seat (I weigh 205 and my wife 140). All of them have the unfinished glaze where the top meets the tank. Try to pull it as far forward as possible, but still shows brown from the lack of glazing. Poor design and execution.
