Slipfence Black Powder-Coated Horizontal Channel Kits for 4-ft High Fence - 6/Pk

Add warmth and privacy to your yard this year with the Slipfence Horizontal Fence system. This aluminum channel kit includes 6 channels to build one 4-ft high panel. Combined with the Slipfence Post Kit SF2-PK306, it provides a durable framework for your fence project. Attach the channels to Slipfence aluminum posts using included self-drilling screws, then insert 8 regular 1-in thick deck boards (sold separately). The result is a private, contemporary wood fence with the strength of aluminum. A Slipfence Cap Rail (SF2-HCR84) is required for the top of each panel. After installation, allow 4-6 weeks for the wood to shrink to about 1-in above the channels, then trim and attach the cap rail with black screws included.

• Inside channel width 1-1/8-in to accommodate a 5/4-in deck board with an actual thickness of 1-in
• Kit includes 6 channels 43-in L; #12 self-drilling stainless screws; #8 Stainless wood screws to fasten boards to channels
• Tools needed: impact drill, #2, and #3 Star Phillips drive, chop/mitre saw with wood blade
• Recommended space between posts is 6 feet

• Once you have completed the fence and the cap rails are in place, measure from the top of the side channels up 2.5 - 3-in and this is where you will cut the posts
