horrible shower column
spend 5 hours trying to install this and realized the o-rings kept failing.
Cant return as this was purchased 6 months before. what a load of junk.

Great idea, but giant flaw
Just finished install, had to widen water lines, from 3.75 spacing to 6.5, but the issue is that when tightening the shower pole onto threaded stem, the glass top exploded. Now it is falling apart and loose shards of safety glass all over the shower. I don't know if the wrench was dragging across glass, or sharp edge on shower stem fitting, or if base plate under glass flexed.

Nightmare to install!
As a plumber, this is a nightmare to install, due to the fact that it has to be roughed in to the exact depth determined by the tile thickness.

Junk
This is a hopeless piece of junk almost impossible to instal terrible design. To make it line up with the plumbing you have to rotate the connectors so you cannot make it level. Even worse cutting the i rings is very likely. They are a non standard size and not only does Rona not stock them but they can’t get the parts from the vendor. So you have about $200+ of scrap metal. I even replaced the whole assembly and the second still leaks. So if I buy a reputable brand shower to replace this I have holes in my new tiles. Do not buy under any circumstances, even if it free walk away.

Complicated but do able
With lack of instructions we had to be creative. Had to replace o rings 5x before we got it in place correctly. Once we got it attached tightly to the shower wall and finally had no leaks, siliconed around the base, it works great. Our plumber did not want to tackle trying to install so we did it ourselves. Would ONLY recommend this on a new construction install so you have east access to inside of wall when trying to attach it to plumbing lines. But now that it's all in I love it. 3 stars for the install but 5 stars for final use of product. Would I put another one in, probably not. Too much work.

Something's wrong here
First, this shower column, though great-looking, comes with zero installation instructions. I showed this unit to four different installers and not one of them could figure out how to mount the control unit to the wall. Returned it and bought a Moen instead, which incidentally came with detailed installation instructions.
