These mouse traps don’t latch. I don’t know if the plastic platform had a bad lip but all 8 (2 four packs) all didn’t stay latched.

Work Great
I've been using the Victor Traps with the small metal bait pedal and recently switched to these. They are quite a bit more tricky to bait, very sensitive, but they work so much better. I'm currently using both the metal pedal and the plastic pedal bait station and these plastix peddles are about 5 times more productive, just don;t snap your fingers too often when you bait them.

Mais pourquoi avoir changé ce qui allait bien?
Ce nouveau modèle avec la plaque de plastique jaune ne fonctionne pas. J'ai 72 ans et j'ai utilisé toute ma vie ces pièges victor en bois et métal. J'en ai pogné des souris avant aujourd'hui! J'achète cde machin jaune parce que je ne trouve plus le vieux modèle. C'est la fête des souris, ils mangent tout et sans que ça se déclenche. Avec l'ancien modèle, je ne ratais jamais mon coup! Vraiment mauvais produit.

Works great
Ive killed 23 mice since November. Use a little natural peanut butter. Dont allow it to go through the holes or it can prevent the lever from going down when the mouse gets on it.

Complete garbage
Really hard to get the metal arm to catch on the slippery plastic. The spring easily detaches from the striker rendering the trap useless. I would stick to the old all wood and metal trap.
