Traeger Folding Shelves
In my opinion this product should be part of the purchasing package. The amount of money invested in purchasing the original pellet grill there shouldn't have been such a higher cost an item that is a necessary part. Otherwise the purchase for me was an indispensable addition.

Folding shelf is a must!
Highly recommended for your smoker adds the needed extra space for grill tools and trays used while grilling, the side shelf is nice but a bit small, but the front folding shelf adds so much more space.

Great as long as you're not lookin'
I sat on this purchase for a while. I hated only having the hopper lid as a place to hold stuff on my 780. I finally found a sale and pulled the trigger. The shelf itself is well built, easy to install, and almost well designed. It is mounted too high on the grill so you cannot actually use the shelf if you have to open the lid for anything without knocking off the contents of the shelf. I know if you're lookin' you ain't cookin', but if I can't keep my stuff on the shelf all day, why have the shelf at all. Back to the hopper table I go...
