Good for special occasions, but not daily use
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First, let me say that Duracell provided me with a free sample of this product. Having said that, I'm not particularly impressed by these batteries in any way.
The Duracell Quantum batteries are apparently the longest-lasting alkaline battery, which is a great thing to advertise. I've had the product for a little over a month, and my battery usage is really high for many things. However, for those things, I use rechargeable batteries. Products ranging from video game controllers, to flashlights, to cameras all have their own rechargeable batteries that last much longer than these alkaline ones. I would recommend anyone who needs to have a constant charge to look into rechargeable batteries instead for their more important products.
For anyone who grew up in the 90s, the charge meter on these batteries are really an old gimmick. You can find some fun in pressing to see the charge, but I'm not 10 years old anymore; the meter is usually irrelevant, since a battery with a low charge won't work properly anyways. An example would be the Quantums that I placed in my clocks around the house. Once the battery loses enough charge, the clock won't tick upwards anymore. For some, the meter could be helpful in knowing how low the battery's charge is, but if your product isn't working with one set of batteries, it doesn't matter what the charge is: you'll need to swap them anyways. And I doubt the casual consumer will be opening up their battery compartments just to check on the charge meter of a product in use.
A battery like the Quantum battery is simply overkill for any casual consumer. I could see its applications in workplace settings where batteries are a life-or-death situation, but no casual consumer should be paying a premium for these batteries. You'll see a negligible benefit from using them in everyday household products. At best, you could buy a pack of these and save them for important equipment, but for daily use I'd recommend buying the generic batteries that offer a higher battery count for comparable price.
Having said that, the Quantum battery is definitely a quality product, and the items I've use them in (clocks and Xbox controllers) have been reliable and they last for a while. But I can't recommend them for the price, quantity, or for daily use.

Durable and Long Lasting.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Duracell has always been my choice for batteries. They are durable and last a long time. I've never any issues with them. Great quality and longer lasting than other batteries. I received this product free to test from Duracell. I like the 10 year storage guarantee which eases my mind if I pull them out 9 years later. It is a great idea that they added the battery tester. We used these batteries in multiple items and surpass the expectations. Overall these batteries held up to my standards, would highly recommended them.

real-life roadtest Duracell® Quantum AA batteries
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Okay ... so batteries are a pretty low-interest category, right? I received a four-pack of Duracell® Quantum Batteries - courtesy of P+G/Duracell (hey thanks btw) and correspondingly, offer up this honest review in exchange.
I decided to put these to a real-life test, and dropped a pair of them into my wireless Apple Magic Mouse - which sees about 10 or so hours of action per day during the work week. Normally, I swap batteries out every four and half weeks or so - and will normally buy whatever is cheapest at my friendly big box retailer.
So, I accepted this campaign in August and loaded up my new batteries on 01st September. Today is Thanksgiving (10 October), and I'm still at 13% battery-life which is awesome! So just shy of six weeks, and my test is ongoing. Yay me!
Now back to my friendly big box retailer - this weekend, I did look at the price variance between their house label, regular Duracell Coppertops, and the new Quantums. Right now, Quantums are at a 22% price premium to Coppertops - and for me, using my mouse, it looks to be about a wash in terms of increased longevity versus increase in price. Where I would look to use these batteries is in things like smoke and CO detectors / battery back-ups where the risks / costs of [premature] battery failure are high.

Amazing product
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These batteries have lasted me 40 days using them in a soap dispenser for a high traffic bathroom with three people living in it. The powercheck after 40 days still shows most of the juice is left !!! That is impressive. The only negative thing is the powercheck on the battery is a little finicky to use .

Duracell Quantum AA
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After receiving these batteries from Duracell I put them to the test. I compared them against regular Duracell batteries with ipod dock speakers, same model, playing the same playlist. The Quantums lasted over 4 hours longer than the regular batteries. needless to say, this product is what I have purchased since and dont plan on going back.

Too early to tell, but happy so far
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received a sample pack of AA Duracell Quantum batteries. I have an electronic door lock which I put them in because I need reliable batteries that won't die when I need them most.
So far, I'm impressed. Generally batteries last about 6 months in that lock. As I've only had the batteries in the for a few weeks I can't say these will last longer, but so far the lock is reporting the batteries are still near full.
I'd recommend these in situations where you would need batteries you can count on.

Good Solid Batteries
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received a free sample of these batteries from Duracell for my honest review. Overall they are just standard looking AA batteries with the PowerCheck function. I have used batteries that have this feature before and it can be useful. I have a young child so we swap batteries between things all the time. Its nice to be able to easily check if a battery is dead or not when its in a large pile of random batteries. Specifically, with my particular sample, I subjected it to a much more demanding task. I used them to power my speedlight flash for flash photography. I noticed getting more shots from the batteries than other previous batteries, but not exactly sure how much more. Also, I cannot comment on the claimed 10 year storage time as it would require 10 years of storage.
