Overall a good wrench
I ordered this as an addition to my existing Craftsman adjustable wenches which stops at 12 inch. My one complaint is that the handle of this wrench gets smaller as you go down the handle. None of my other wrenches are like this, including both the older USA Ctaftsman and the SB&D Craftsman. I also verified that this is not a standard with all brands of this size wrench. My complaint is not simply cosmetic, with it not matching the rest, but it does not provide the game feel and grip.
The quality of the wrench seems good. The screw adjustment moves smooth, at least as smooth as you would expect. There is no binding and it moves free to both ends. The range goes to 45mm, but I would hesitate to use it over 40mm in a high torque application as the end of the movable jaw starts to extend past the main wrench. Regardless, having that extra 5mm is nice to have should you need it.
I gave this a 4/5 because the wrench functions just fine, I just don't like the handle. This may not bother some people, but for the price, there are other brands that have a handle that does not get smaller and at the same, and sometimes less, cost ... and still offering the lifetime warranty. If I had to make this purchase again, I would likely choose a competing brand. Although it would not match the set, getting the $10 reduction in price and keeping the same size handle down the entire length would be worth it to me. Given the handle on this one is different from the rest, I would not pay the extra to get a "matching" wrench as it does not really match. I don't regret the buy, I would just choose differently if I could do it again.
