Description
The Alpine fireplace glass door is a decorative cabinet-style door with a high heat powder-coated finish which enhances a traditional masonry fireplace hearth. This one-piece frame construction is designed as a surface mount and sits outside the fireplace opening against a flat surface. The fireplace glass door assists in reducing heat loss or cool air loss up the chimney by as much as 90%. That equals a year-round energy savings when the fireplace is not in use. Comes with easy grip handles, hidden damper control knobs for air flow control and heat-resistant thick insulation. For masonry fireplaces only; not compatible with prefabricated. Made in the U.S.A.

Easy Install, Looks Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm satisfied both with the product and the service from GHP - it shipped really quickly. Watched an installation video on YouTube beforehand which helped prepare me. Wish there were some information on preferred methods for sealing - I used a high-temperature silicone, but, not sure if that was the best choice or not. Looks great, especially for the price, wish I had ordered one years ago.

So far so good!

Beautiful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item online at Home Depot and it looks beautiful! Fit my space and added so much class to my fireplace. I got the large because I had the big wood burning fireplace that I had replaced with gas logs. A fireplace in a home is the center of any decor and it made mine much more attractive!

Easy setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased the Aspen glass doors and it fits perfectly. The installation was very simple and only took an hour. I love how there's a mesh screen attached and no need to purchase an extra one! They really compliment the hearth and would definitely recommend to anyone. I purchased extra installation from hardware store to use but was just my preference. And DO NOT close doors with fire because glass will break.
