BEWARE: NXR DOESN’T STAND BY THEIR SHODDY PRODUCTS
I recently purchased a NXR Professional Style range. It arrived at my home with multiple defects: The large oven door fell off its hinges (I'm not exaggerating); the igniters on 3 of the 6 burners continue to fire after the burners are lit; the spaces between the doors and the range front are uneven; and the burner knobs are misaligned when all burners are turned off. I communicated these problems to Duro, NXR's manufacturer, and their only offer was to send a repairman. When the repairman arrived, he was not a Duro employee, admitted that he knew little about Duro products, and told me that I should have purchased another brand. PayPal was no help either. PayPal said we would have to return this 315-lb. range to the manufacturer. To do so would have cost me $300 to have the range moved to the curb and $700 to ship from my home in New York to Duro's plant in California. Even then, there's no guarantee that Duro would return my $3,500 payment -- they said I would need to send it back in the original packaging. If you're considering buying a range, definitely do not buy a Duro NXR appliance.

A couple of concerns
I bought this a year ago. I love the stove top but I am disappointed with a couple of features. No clock or timer system of any kind on a stove this expensive is disappointing. I also don’t like the shelves in the oven. It is not a good system and hard to change when needed.

Ignition clicks all the time, can only use on low.
I have had this stove for 6 months now and the ignition clicks all the time if it is in the range of medium to high! Very, very frustrating!

Great Value
I have had the oven for seven months and been very happy with it. It is not only a showpiece, but a workhorse that we use at least once a day. We converted ours to propane. One complaint I have is I have trouble with the small oven and things usually burn on the bottom. The only other thing is that when you get to 'low' the flame does not really get any lower for the simmer option. Other than that it has worked beautifully and I'm very happy with the look and function I got for a fraction of the cost of other comparable ranges.
