Description
With its versatile 2-in-1 design, this Worx electric pole saw converts into a chainsaw to tackle a range of light-duty to medium-duty trimming and pruning jobs. The extension pole can be attached without the use of tools for easy installation, extending length up to 10' so you can easily reach higher limbs. Simply remove the pole to use it like a chainsaw when you are ready to chop up branches. The powerful 8A motor provides reliable performance, and the pole saw features a 10" bar length and a 3/8" chain pitch. The patented auto-tension chain system ensures extended bar and chain life, while the automatic chain lubrication pump with oil lever indicator offers a low-maintenance design and easy operation.
- [UP HIGH OR DOWN LOW] It's really 2-tools-in-1: A pole saw for trimming branches from trees, and a regular chainsaw for projects on the ground
- [POWERFUL MOTOR] At 8 Amps, you'll get consistent performance and reliability from this streamlined machine
- [AUTO CHAIN LUBRICATION] The automatic oiler will always have the chain operating at peak efficiency, for faster, more controlled cuts
- [COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT] At only 10 lbs., this saw is designed to be held up high and to be maneuverable once it gets up there
- [DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] WORX tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that's been designed to last
- [AUTO CHAIN TENSION] This system prevents over-tightening, keeps the chain running smoothly around the bar, and places less stress on the motor
- [TOOL-LESS INSTALLATION] The pole attaches quickly and offers up to 10 feet of reach, so you don't have to stand on a ladder to trim branches
- [INCLUDES] 8 Amp 10" Chainsaw, 8-foot Extension Pole, Chain, Chain Bar, Blade Protection Cover
Ecological Attributes
Using an electric tool generates significantly fewer greenhouse gases (GHGs) and air pollutants than a conventional model using gasoline. Also, the use of a plug instead of a battery reduces the impacts associated with its production and end-of-life.

Awesome tool!!!
Our neighbor let us borrow this exact chainsaw and we will be buying this! We trimmed our 23 yr old oak tree and it worked wonders. Our tree had NEVER been cut back with anything but a pair of tree shears, so it needed a lot of work thinning out the branches of all sizes. We used it all day and loved it. The chain only popped off once. We figured out how to put it on via YouTube and then it worked perfectly again. Here’s a bad picture of what it trimmed! It’s nearly larger than our suv!

Works very well, but as a polesaw, a bit heavy.
I got this a few days ago, and used it for the first time today. First, as a chainsaw: The first time I turned it on, it cut quickly, then the chain popped off. I took off the cover, re-installed the chain, then tightened the lock nut more, and it worked fine after that. Made a few cuts on a branch and it worked perfectly.
Next, as a polesaw. I have (well, now, had) a fairly small tree (~5" at the base, 3-4" at the cable) leaning against the neighbor's cable coming in from the street that I had to cut off above the cable before I could take down the rest. At full extension, I was able to cut off a few branches to lighten the load, then cut off the crown a foot above the cable. It worked well, but that 10lbs at the end of the pole was something of a challenge (full disclosure, I'm 67 but reasonably strong). I then had to trim some other high branches from other small trees as well.
After taking the pole off again, it took maybe an hour to chop up the branches, then cut down the rest of the trunk into pieces small enough that they'll be picked up as yard waste. The saw worked like a champ.
My only complaint is that for a couple of hours after I finished, I had cramps in my hands and forearms, probably (IMO) because of the unusual position of hoisting this mass above my head. I seem to be fine now (~4 hrs after I finished), but I'll bet I'll be sore tomorrow! That's on me more than the saw, but be aware that it is a significant weight you'll be holding above your head if you're making high cuts.
And even if it breaks tomorrow, I've still saved over what a tree service would charge.

Must have tool for pruning small trees.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely satisfied w/ my 10” pole saw. Unbelievable power from this small saw on a pole. Makes cutting small trees and tall branches so easy and safe. Excellent value for the money!

WORX WG309 8 Amp 10" Electric Pole Saw
I'm fairly strong as I can beat a college baseball pitcher in arm wresting - With the pole fully extended it is too heavy to control well while using - is there a harness to help with the weight and stability The chain is easy to adjust, but not self adjusting

Pleasantly Surprised!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it to take down small tree in my court yard. Other than being a little top heavy the saw performed well above my expectations. Saw had plenty of power and was able to remove whole tree and the chain remained sharp. I wouldn’t recommend trying what I did but for the occasional limb removal it would be great. I also have the blower and vacuum that works great. Highly recommend Worx tools

Excellent pole saw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace a couple of ones that failed made by some Green company. This is still running just fine a few years later. I use it on hardwood with pole fully extended. Have to keep the bar tight or the chain jumps. I own several chainsaws.

A small beast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just wanted to say, that I bought this 2 years ago and it has been a little beast. I have had to use it in place of my regular chain saw, while it was in the shop and it has chopped up some pretty big trees with no problems, just changing the chain out. I would definately get again. The only con to it so far is it leaks oil when not in use.
