Controller is horrible
The first controller was broken when I received it as a gift. I replaced it with a new controller and it broke before it was even used once! Everything else would be good enough for a homeowner but the controller makes it junk.

We just put it together and all the parts weren't in the box and the lever doesn't work properly. I wouldn't recommend this thing to anyone!!!

Poor Quality Control.
Today (18 APR, 2024) I purchased this, my second Agri-Fab tow behind spreader.
The first one I attempted to assemble had one tire that would not take air. (Both tires had no air in them) One tire took air just fine, the second however would not. There must have been a hole in the tube or, the tire never did seat on the rim.
Today, I checked the tires before assembly and both had air in them. I began the assembly process. I put one tire on the axle assembly and installed the cotter pin. When I attempted to install the second tire I noticed that the axle shaft pre-drilled hole was done incorrectly. The pre-drilled hole for the cotter pin installation to hold the wheel and tire on the axle was miss drilled so far off that it would never accept any wheel and tire assembly.
I will have to return this unit as well. That makes two Agri-Fab 110-lb spreaders that I have attempted to assemble and have to return due to what I perceive as poor quality control.
I've read many reviews and most seem to be positive with a fairly high percentage rating of customers recommending the product. I can in no way recommend anything Agri-Fab at this point based upon my experience.
I will be purchasing a different brand.

Had trouble placing two plugs 49449. They would not insert. I used Vaseline. I trying to tap the one in and broke. See photo.

Broke after first use
Bought this spreader, the open and close mechanism is absolutely terrible. The cable broke the first time I used the product. If that’s the case not sure how replacing it could have any longevity. Makes no sense why it does not have the same mechanism as the 130lb spreader.

Inferior materials. Major redesign required
Within the first 3 minutes the control handle failed. If they dont redesign there chute control handle im afraid this is not a product to buy.

Hopper bottom should taper more to allow full contents to be spread. Flat at bottom of hopper is too large.
Selector is junk. Moving the handle, of the selector, causes the "stop" to also move.
