Does not display gallons remaining until region
This unit does not display gallons remaining until next regen. My 8-yr old unit did have that feature but not my new unit. Very disappointed. It tracks water consumption and schedules a regen but I would like to know consumption.

Waste of money
Bought this 6 months ago from Rona . Professionally installed and it has never worked properly since purchasing. Rona tells me to contact whirlpool and whirlpool tells me to contact Rona. Avoid buying.

So Far So Good
Have had new water softener less than a month but it is so far doing a good job. My wife could tell within a couple of days that washing her hair is a much better experience. Toilets have lost their little iron ring.

Simple hook up
Very easy to plumb in( we had another unit the was old and died, hooked up the day I bought it but because of a faulty power supply it couldn't be used for the 1st 2 weeks until they sent a replacement
