Sharp, high quality, and very well made
I received this knife a couple weeks ago and it is by far the nicest knife I've used. Ergonomic handle is easy to hold, steel goes right from knife tip to handle base, and not only is it a beautiful knife, but wow is it sharp. Slicing, chopping, dicing is a breeze and this knife makes meal prep fun again. The slight curve in the blade makes rocking smooth and safe. The box the knife came in is a elegant presentation that makes this truly feel like a premium product. I've always trusted Napoleon to deliver quality and reliable products and this chef's knife does not disappoint.

Fantastic knife!

I have used it on meat (both raw and cooked) and veggies, and it slices and chops nicely.
I own a set of Henckels and this knife compares favorably with those. Would definitely recommend.

Great Knife! It's a Keeper...
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was so surprised when I was asked to review use and review this knife. I am NOT a knife snob and I do have some very good knives (Damascus Hand forged Chef knife) which was a gift ( and I know they paid plenty for it), but this knife is every bit as good.
Usually I use my meat cleaver to cut my ribs in prep for seasoning and smoking as it is the only this that can get through the bones etc.
I figured, might as well put it to the test. It has a great handle well fitted to your hand and you can see my the video it cuts through with no chopping. I am not kind to my knives either... They need to be able to take a beating and this knife appears to make the cut, no pun intended.
Second test, two chickens fresh off the Napoleon rotisserie. Like a hot knife through butter...
Right out of the package this knife is very sharp. Like deadly sharp... One must be careful, but it will definitely be part of my arsenal.

Perfect for Memorial Day and every day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally impressed! I received my Chef’s knife a few days before Memorial Day. The packaging is luxury. It’s clear Napoleon emphasizes aesthetics. The knife itself has substantial weight in the grip, is well balanced and perfect size for cutting meats or vegetables. I’ve spent time in Japan and purchased knives there. I would put this knife up against any of my Japanese purchases. The steel is thick, sharp and balanced. My first test was removing fat from a full brisket. The knife was smooth and precise. Line, this knife will now be my go-to knife.

Great Knife
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This knife was supplied by Napoleon at no charge for me to test. This knife is well built well balanced and very sharp it looks to be sharpened to 15 degrees so it will probably require sharpening a bit more but my first impressions are good.
