Gorgeous colour but just does not last or absorb
Bought this to cover our deck, which is 10 feet by 30 feet plus benches - huge. Lasted okay on the benches and railings but peeling off the entire deck in most places. Do not have the energy to completely strip the deck so now stuck with it. Definitely not recommended. Very frustrating

Poor coverage
Bought a solid red stain and after two coats I can still see the wood grain and color underneath. Even the wood grain on the stir stick is not yet covered!
Colour is amazing though. I would use this on new furniture that doesn’t require the coverage!

excellent stain
i stained our cottage with this latex stain 7 years ago- and it's hold well. i gave a brief sanding of the oil paint before application- just enough to dull the shine. The remaining stain is still liquid and the same as when purchased. no odor, easy to clean brushes, don;t know if it works on floors or walking surfaces

Peeled after 1 winter
I loved the colour. It was recommended by our local hardware store and after sanding and prepping, it went on very nicely but it appears it cannot stand up to Atlantic Nova Scotia sea air/winters. I cannot recommend to anyone and I am fearful of trying another SICO product.
