Two joints need Teflon Tape
At first this drain leaked as stated by previous reviews. However once I unscrewed the tail section and taped the threads with Teflon tape it did not leak. I also taped the threads of the top section. (ie. 3 sections altogether) I do not think there is a welded section as another review mentioned. As a result this drain has worked quite well.

Useless as a replacement drain
Much like the previous reviewer, this thing leaks from the threaded joint below the sink. The drain pipe is a two-piece section with threads and this is the problem. No matter how much tighten it or teflon tape I use on the threads, it still dribbles continuously. This is the only roadblock to completing my sink replacement; now I might have to rip it out and start over if I have to swap out the drain.

J'ai acheté ce produit le samedi 9 mai, en pleine période de Covid. Je l'ai installé dans les règles de l'art. Que vois-je? Un mince filet d'eau s'écouler par le joint des deux tuyaux mécano-soudé. Encore une mer...de fabriquée en Chine que Rona achète ! C'est mon temps que vous gaspiller quand j'achète des produits de chez vous ! Bein beau le retourner pour l'échanger, mais c'est mon temps qui est gaspillé !
