Botched design or botched machining not sure which
When you try to tighten down the hose connector ring, the inner brass part of it (the part with the flat surface the washer sets on), doesn't seem to want to tighten down properly and sit flat. Thus it does not fasten onto a hose bib reliably,. It seems to be machined improperly, either that or just a really poor design from the get go. Unfortunately I threw the packaging away before I discovered the flaw, so now I'm stuck with this mal-functioning dud of a connector. Who would have expected a brand name like Gilmour would botch up something so simple.
