Useless without batteries/adapter
We recently installed the Arlo faucet for our laundry skin downstairs. We did purchase it in 2021, prior to the other reviews that have come out regarding this concern. We have always been more than pleased with Moen products, however this purchase has frustrated us to say the least. Prior to installation we were aware of the motion sense option, but had purchased the tap for the look and the pull down function, and did not plan on using the motion sense very much. We read the instructions thoroghly prior to opening the package and no where did it say that the motion sense was REQUIRED for the tap to function. Its only after installation (therefore we are unable to return the product to RONA where it was purchased) that we discovered that batteries are required for the sink to even function. We do not want to have to burn through batteries, so we looked into the adapter for the faucet only to find out that it will cost us even more than the faucet itself. We are very disappointed in this product and the lack of transparency in the operation instructions.
Buyer beware - you HAVE to use the motion sense therefore need batteries/the ac adapter. After seeing some reviews of the technology glitching after install, we won't be purchasing another moen tap with this technology.

Garbage
I installed this 1 day ago, it worked fine for that 1 day. Now on day 2 the hot water will not flow only cold. I've taken it apart and the screens are not clogged at all. I can feel the control unit vibrate when I command hot, and when I command cold but only the cold will actually flow.

Deuxième robinet Moen pour moi
J'ai acheté un Moen MotionSense pour remplacer celui que j'avais depuis plus de 8 ans. J'en étais très satisfaite. Toutefois, je remarque une diminution de la qualité des pièces qui sont en plastique et moins massives qu'avant. Le capteur de mouvement sur le côté du robinet me plait moins que celui sur le devant, puisqu'il augmente les débordements d'eau sur le comptoir. Le risque de débordement est aussi dû à l'absence de butée d'arrêt, le robinet peut donc tourner de 360 degrés autour de son pied. Dans l'ensemble, je suis tout de même satisfaite du produit et je crois que je me ferai rapidement au changement. L'installation fut très facile, les instructions sont claires.

J'ai acheté ce robinet il y a 5 mois, je ne l'utilise qu'avec le senseur. Je l'adore, nous n'avons pas eu à changer les piles à ce jour. Il ne dégoutte pas. le boyau rétractable est le meilleur que j'ai utilisé. Très pratique en période de pandémie de ne pas avoir à toucher la poignée. Je le conseille sans hésitation.

I bought this new tap to go along with my kitchen renovations. I really like the touch-less feature and it works well. An automatic soap dispenser would give this product a 5 star. Wasn't too hard to install. I highly recommend this faucet!

Sécuritaire en plus
Je l'adore, en plus d'être très fonctionnel et il ne dégoutte pas comme certains commentaires, il arrête de lui même au bout de quelques minutes ce qui fait qu'on ne peut avoir de débordement d'eau avec un robinet qu'on aurait oublié de fermer. Il se ferme avant que l'évier soit empli à mi-hauteur.
