Difficult installation, awkward mechanism
This baby gate is difficult to install and does not seem to sit true and flush with both extensions in use. The tension needs to be so high for it to operate correctly that it actually damaged my stair bannister. I am not happy with this purchase and will look for something else.

Graco baby or puppy gate.
It’s sturdy, the gate swings in and out, it’s taller than most gates, and the opening and closing of the gate is smooth and reliable, plus it closes automatically. .

Not for use on top of the stairs
We couldn’t use the gate as in instruction manual it said not to install the gate on top of the stairs which is where we need it. I didn’t find this information upon ordering and I think it’s important as not all parents know which gates are meant for top and which are for bottom of stairs. Thankfully, customer service was quick to initiate a return. Still waiting for refund but at least I have peace I could return it because I bought it through their website and not third party site.

Missing parts, not replaced or refunded
Received the product, missing parts. Reached out to Graco, Graco redirected to the manufacturer, manufacturer doesn't care to resolve the issue despite multiple calls and emails.

Very simple!
Very easy to install and love that we don't have to screw anything into the wall.
Also I read a few reviews complaining about the gap on the top of the lock. It's not a structure fault, it will close up once it's correctly installed (just keep screwing it tighter) it is noted in the instructions.
