Easy to use, hard to setup
Have used it for about two months now and it is very easy to use. Installation was difficult with wiring needed in the attic. Couldn't get app connected until a call to company and he fixed it right up.

Useless
Read the online reviews. This over engineered device cannot do the simple task of reading the room temperature. As such it will overshoot heating and cooling and waste your time and money.

EASY!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was extremely easy. And setting up the app was seamless. We are easily able to set and reprogram the temperature that is best for our family and the weather. Our heating/cooling bills have tapered off because we can easily turn it on/off dependent on when the family is home.

Great Canadian product
This is our 2nd ecobee unit. I installed the first one years ago and we upgraded because our maintenance company offered us the unit with an install so we took it. Works great. Installed my old unit at my dad's place and he hates technology but doesn't mind this one at all.

Easy Install and Great User Interface
I replaced my Google Nest Learning thermostat with the Ecobee Smart Thermostat. The main reason was because my smart home platform is Apple's Homekit and this thermostat integrates nicely with the Apple Home app. Installation was easy and the interface just makes sense over the Google Nest. Heat and coll schedule is easy to configure and once a one day schedule is created you are able to copy that schedule across the other days of the week if you want those days to follow the same schedule or you can create a custom schedule by the day based on your home and away schedule.
