Is this battery compatible with the same charging station that the 40v 4 amp battery came with?
I am not sure of the answer to this as it is not specifically addressed in anything I have been able to read. However the advertising for these batteries indicates that they are somewhat universally exchangeable on all 40V systems therefore I assume this includes the charger.
This is a gift for someone and I expect we will not have a chance to confirm this for another week or so. However, it is not chargeable on the same charger that came with the mower, it will be returned.

Battery is useless after 2 years. I used to be able to mow my entire lawn on 1 charge, and now I have to charge 2-3 times to finish it. Cannot buy replacement because they are constantly out of stock at Rona. Not even an option to purchase online.

The battery did fit the charger that came with the mower and the capacity was definitely better than the original batteries that cane with the mower originally.
