Lovely addition to my living room
This is a beautiful focal point for my living room. The bright white with a mantle piece and the scored columns and raised trim give the fireplace a classic look. The firebox provides good heat and is easy to manage with a remote.

An excellent elegant fireplace
I did research for an electric fireplace, and narrowed it down to the Dimplex fireplaces . All reviews were good for this model (Jean) and it appeared to be made in Canada with a factory / plant in eastern Canada .The products arrived as scheduled via Fedex . The mantle was in perfect condition and very easy to assemble in only a few minutes and also looks very elegant . The firebox had minor frame damage , probably at the factory as there were no external box damages. . The damage is hidden by the glass face plate so it is not a concern. Plugged the unit in and everything works perfectly .
PRO’s , Very well made . A good looking firebox . I bought this for zone heating in my living room (14X23) and was surprised how quickly this fireplace would heat up this area with out having to crank up the furness and heat up the whole house that extra 5 degrees .
CON’s , There is a drone from the flame effect , the faster the flame the faster the drone. It is minor and not a real concern. I would consider it normal. There is a heater blower hum and is noticeable when running but not excessive and I put this down to normal as well. The damage to the firebox should have been caught by QI before boxing and shipping.
A very long review but I needed to share the details as I have never make an expensive purchase like this online with out physically seeing what I am getting. A definite 5 star product and highly recommended . So far so good. I have only had the unit for a few weeks

I ordered this fireplace since September and was told I was not getting it until the end of February, but I was surprised when I for an email for delivery..I must say I am in love with my fireplace...will definitely recommend it!

Elegant styling and nice amount of heat.
Purchased this elegant fireplace a few years back. Provides just the right amount of heat for our large bedroom and the remote control "off" timer is perfect for when you drift off to sleep! Very reliable product and the log feature and flickering glow is surprisingly effective and really enhance the fireplace experience. Love it!
