The Alcove pergola is quite a large structure and will be quite top heavy with the wood that needs to go inside the posts, beams and rafters. The best way to install it is by putting the posts 3' into the ground. If the pergola is to sit on a deck, you will need to secure it to the deck.

Unfortunately our Alcove pergola is only available in white, however it IS covered by our 20 year manufacturer's warranty and you'll never have to paint it or stain it!

Great question. The two outside posts will be 85 3/8" from the center post (outside post to outside post). The two outside posts will be 120 7.8" from each other. This pergola is covered by our 20 year manufacturer's guarantee and you will never have to paint it or stain it.
