Very good blender!
This is a very good powerful blender . I have had no issues with it and it first blender that I have had that I have not burned out. Very good product. So I bought other two blender!

Okay, until it didn't fit anymore
I have had this blender just for a couple of years, and I use it occasionally, an average of once a month. I was blending about two weeks ago when liquid started oozing out at the bottom of the jar. Only to discover that the locking nut has disconnected from the blade. All effort to screw it back proved unsuccessful. I can screw in the locking nut into the blade when the parts are separated but when you add the jar, it suddenly feels as if the blade is not long enough. I contacted the Salton, they are offering to sell me parts with shipping cost etc. apparently, this is a common problem (https://www.justanswer.com/small-appliance/h19at-salton-harley-pasternak-compact-power-blender.html).
Please, spare yourself the unnecessary expenses, add some money and buy yourself a very good quality product, not this one please. Stay off this product!

This blender hardly ever leaves our counter. It works amazingly well. I thought I was going to e disappointed because of the price point, boy was I wrong! I use it for my smoothies and my husband uses it for preparing our family's favourite pizza sauce. Definitely recommend!
